When I saw these birds, I had to have them. A silvery lavender iridescent bantam that lays incredibly gorgeous blue eggs, I could not resist them! As it turns out, they ended up belong to my oldest child, not me. Mia was as fascinated by these gentle birds as I was, so they were purchased as her personal flock.
Our breeding stock came from Ozarks Fancy Poultry here in Arkansas and originated from John Blehm's stock. We are honored to add these amazingly beautiful birds to our breeds here at Flying A Farm.
Our Bantam Lavender Ameraucanas will breed true to size and color. We will have hatching eggs and chicks available in Fall 2010. Orders are now being accepted.
