Our Guineas are the Pearl and Lavender colors. They are largely used for free range tick and pest control here at Flying A Farm and they do a fine job.
They are also extremely effective at keeping their ranging area free of snakes. We have not seen a poisonous snake within a wide radius of the house or barns since we brought Guineas to our farm. They don't discriminate on snakes and keep the good snakes and not so good ones away with equal enthusiasm.
We do not pen our Guineas and they are experts at nest hiding. As a result, we do not often have eggs or keets available. If a special request comes in, we will attempt to locate a nest for eggs to incubate or we will gather keets after they hatch.
