To see a group of Runners at top speed is a sight that will keep you laughing. They walk and RUN, not waddle, and boy they sure can move! Our drake is protective of his girls and his territory with the other poultry, but never with people.
We turn our Runner Ducks out in the morning after we gather their large white and green eggs. They spend the day eating grass, weeding and debugging the garden and feed themselves. They meet us back at their house each evening to be put in for the night, chatting busily about their day :-)
